Sad News From Tanzania

We learnt recently of the sad death from cancer of the Chief Nurse of Tanzania, Clavery Mpandana. He was a friend of FoANs having visited a couple of the courses we were running in Tanzania and we are thinking of his family as this sad time.

He was a great champion of raising standards of care to patients and of ensuring that nurses and nursing in Tanzania were cared for and at the head of the patient care agenda. He will be much missed.
