The first perioperative HERO Awards in Europe
On July 1st FoAN was excited and thrilled to discover that two of the five European perioperative heros (as nominated and voted for by colleagues and peers) voted to make a donation to Friends of African Nursing as part of their prize.
We are immensely grateful to Sandra Morton from Ireland and Ilknur Yayla from Turkey for their generous donations. They can be assured that the cash donations will all be put towards education of nurses in Africa.
